Managed Partnerships
We have very close ties with our 2 local GP surgeries who complete a weekly round to care for their patient. We have a longstanding reputation for working very closely with the local Older Person mental health Team to support our resident as well as other health professionals or organisations to support in the care of your loved ones such as Admiral Nurses. We feel that partnerships not only cover the support for the resident but also for you and encourage all health professionals to include you in the decisions making processes.
Closely Monitored Care
The Manager and team are very skilled at managing the residents when they are anxious, agitated or distressed and cannot always clearly express their feelings. The team use various recognised methods to support each resident in a manner that suits or works for them. This can include close cohort monitoring, 1-1 monitoring, keeping in line of sight from a distance or just simply giving them a cuddle when they are emotionally upset. We try to continue the routine of your loved ones when they become unwell to decrease the level of stress and anxiety that this may cause for them
